Swiss Miss has belonged to winter for more than 50 years. Closely associated with cold weather and warm mugs, the brand has long held a familiar place in seasonal routines—and, for many, in memories of childhood. But while its connection to winter feels instinctive, its place in summer has been far less defined.
Developed in response to a Young Shits Advertising brief, the campaign reimagines Swiss Miss for the warmest part of the year without losing the comfort and recognition that make it distinctly Swiss Miss. Rather than treating warmth as a matter of temperature, the concept expands it into a feeling—drawing on the nostalgia of childhood summers, slow mornings, familiar porches, sun-faded afternoons and the small rituals that tend to stay with us.
Under the line “Warmth That Stays,” Swiss Miss becomes less of a winter-only drink and more of a year-round comfort tied to memory, familiarity and atmosphere. The visual language leans into that emotional shift, pairing the brand with hazy summer settings, soft light and playful copy that creates an unexpected tension between hot cocoa and the season most people would least expect it to inhabit.
